Parson’s Chicken & Fish

HELLO FOOD LOVERS

Alex and I are back! I can't believe it's been a year since we last saw each other. Alex and I first met in a Business Writing course when we attended Columbia College Chicago. We were both in the Fashion program, and the rest was history. I love being able to catch up with friends that help and support your next steps of where you are at in your life and where you want to be.

Unfortunately, the last time we saw each other was last year. It's crazy how fast life goes by, but I love being able to pick up where you left off with any of my friends. Alex has the best eye and aesthetic and I love when my friends can level up to:
1. Eat really good food
2. Be extra
3. Take an excessive amount of pictures

Location: Parson's Chicken & Fish
2952 W Armitage Ave, Chicago, IL 60647

I am a sucker for fried chicken. We had ordered: fried chicken (duh), mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and a chicken sandwich. I was told that their fish sandwiches were a good go-to option! I'm not normally a beer drinker but their in house beer was pretty good!

Parson's has two locations in Chicago, one in Lincoln Park and the other in Logan Square. I lived in Logan for almost two years and of course when I moved away from the city, this was the first time going to this place... SO CUTE. Luckily Alex and I have weird work schedules and were able to beat any sort of "lunch rush" and not go on a weekend. These umbrellas and outdoor patio were too cute to pass up a photo op!
